What to include
To help us investigate, please include:
- The email address or username used to sign in.
- Your device model and operating-system version.
- Your The Homies app version.
- A short description of what you expected and what happened.
- The approximate date and time of the problem.
- A screenshot, if it does not expose private household information.
Do not email your password, one-time verification code, full payment-card number, government ID, or a child’s sensitive information. We will never ask for your password.
Sign-in help
Confirm that you are using the same sign-in method you used when the account was created. If you use an email and password, request a fresh password-reset message and check spam or junk folders. One-time codes expire; request a new code instead of reusing an older one. If you use Apple, Google, or another identity provider, make sure you choose the same provider and provider account used originally.
If you still cannot sign in, email support from the address associated with the account when possible. We may ask you to verify control of that email or linked sign-in, but we will not ask for your password.
Crew and managed-profile help
A Crew owner or authorized organizer can invite members, assign roles, and create managed profiles. If a join code or QR code does not work, ask the organizer to create a new invitation. Do not post Crew codes publicly.
Only a parent, legal guardian, or authorized household organizer should create or manage a child profile. For access, correction, or deletion of a child profile, contact privacy@motivatedmoms.com. We will verify control of the relevant account and authority to act for the child.
Screen Time help
Screen Time features depend on the device, operating system, Apple Family Controls permissions, and the rules configured by the household organizer. Confirm that:
- The supported device is running a current operating-system version.
- The Homies has the required Family Controls or Screen Time permissions.
- The correct managed member, task or points rule, apps, and categories are selected.
- The device has recently opened The Homies and synced.
Screen Time tools are not emergency or safety controls and do not replace appropriate parental supervision.
Subscriptions and billing
Check the billing provider shown in the app or purchase receipt. App Store purchases are managed through Apple; Google Play purchases are managed through Google; web purchases may use a customer portal. You can restore purchases in the app when that option is available.
Deleting your account or the app does not cancel an external subscription. Cancel renewal through the provider that bills you. Refund eligibility is determined by that provider and applicable law.
Account deletion and privacy
Use the guarded deletion option in The Homies app, visit The Homies Account Deletion, or email privacy@motivatedmoms.com. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how it is used, and applicable retention periods.
Response and escalation
We aim to acknowledge support and privacy requests promptly. Complex account, billing, security, or deletion requests may take longer while we verify authority and investigate. If you believe an account is being misused or private information has been exposed, put “Security” or “Privacy” in the subject line so we can route it appropriately.
